P.H.A.T. Fitness is a program under the auspices of KhepeRa Counseling and Consulting (KCC). The primary mission is to assist others with releasing weight in the form physical weight, emotional baggage, and spiritual stagnation that manifest as excess fat on the body, emotional turmoil/mental health disorders (depression and anxiety) and stagnant unfulfilling lives. The goal is to provide support to clients to assist them with transforming their lives through the development and maintenance of mental, emotional, physical and spiritual balance.

Weight Release Group Wednesday Sessions 6:00-7:30 pm
What’s eating you? This weight release support group is specifically designed to assist clients who struggle with compulsive eating disorders, binge eating disorders and those who have difficulty managing their weight due to emotional overeating. The group will focus on understanding and alleviating the psychological barriers to successful weight loss through the application of EDIT Principles (Eating Disorder Intuitive Therapy) and exploration of 12 step principles for recovery from compulsive overeating. (Each group participant must schedule an individual intake appointment with a counselor to assess individual needs).
- Fall: September 12 – December 26
- Winter: February 27-May 22 (Spring Break 4/24 no group)
- Spring: June 12-July 31 (8 week session)
Self-Care Support Group 8 Wednesday Sessions 7:45-9:00 pm
This 8 week support group is designed to support participants in learning to put themselves first and make life affirming deposits to replenish their mental and emotional bank accounts. In this 8 week group we will explore the barriers to self-care and the early childhood and adult experiences that taught us self-neglect. We will explore the symptoms of depression and explore how depression manifests in one’s life impacting one’s ability and willingness to practice self-care. Each participant will develop a personalized self-care plan to address the barriers to self-care and alleviate and/prevent symptoms of depression and anxiety caused by daily life responsibilities and stress. (Each group participant must schedule an individual intake appointment with a counselor to assess individual needs).

- Winter 2018-19: November 28- January 16
- Spring 2019: March 6-May 1 (Spring Break 4/24 no group)
- Summer 2019: June 12-July 31
Dates may change to Monday’s 6:00 to 7:30 pm depending on group size
Serenity Cypher Meets Monday’s (usually the last Monday of each month)
The primary purpose of the Serenity Cypher reflective meditation experience is to create a space for participants to 1) learn how to maintain internal peace in a chaotic world through teaching tools to manage and move through emotions 2) Share and support each other through life’s challenges; to prevent feelings of apathy and isolation created by unresolved feelings of anger, depression and anxiety caused by adversity. 3) Relieve stress, get centered, set intensions and manifest visions for their lives.
